Meet the Provider

Wadiya Haynes, MBA, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC, CNRN, brings over a decade of extensive nursing experience specializing in neuroscience. As a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN), she has a deep understanding of complex neurological conditions with a specialty in spinal disorders that allows her to provide high quality care.

Wadiya previously worked in the Neurological-Surgical Spine Division at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she assessed, diagnosed, and treated patients with various spinal injuries and diseases requiring surgical intervention. In this role, she coordinated referrals to specialists, ensuring that patients received comprehensive and timely care tailored to their unique needs, including patients who require weight management for surgical consideration. 

Wadiya served as the Spinal Cord Injury and Medical Rehabilitation Program Director at Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. Here, she oversaw the care and rehabilitation of post-operative spinal surgeries, spinal cord injuries, and reconditioning of patients with spinal problems; implementing evidence-based practices that improved patient outcomes and quality of life. Her leadership in this role included developing rehabilitation protocols and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
Wadiya’s nursing background also encompasses her work in the Neurological-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Temple University Hospital, where she cared for critically ill patients with a range of neurological conditions and participated in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Known for her strong leadership skills, Wadiya is committed to patient-centered care, actively listening to patients and their families to ensure they have the necessary resources for community success. She recognizes the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in delivering comprehensive healthcare and is dedicated to educating and inspiring both her colleagues and patients in their healthcare journey.
